I haven't been following things closely, but I thought I would look at the transfers and see if they are helping Ohio. These are the ones I found:

Cedric Hillsman DE, JUCO - Aparently left?
Rayyan Buell DT, JUCO - 2d Team, 7 tackles, 2 sacks
Jacoby Jones WR, JUCO - 2d Team WR-X, 14 receptions, 219 yards, 2 TDs
Cam McCullum CB, JUCO - Not on depth chart, 1 tackle
Tyler Mullins S, JUCO - 3d team Nickle, 1 tackle
Vance Van Every OL, JUCO - Backup Center, has not played yet
Parker Navarro QB, Xfer - Backup QB, Injured, 5-12 passing for 43 yds, 9 rush -2 yds
Dontay Hunter II DL, Xfer - Backup RDE, 6 tackles
Sam Wiglusz WR, Xfer - co-starter WR-F, 28 receptions, 290 yards, 3 TD
Adonis Williams S, Xfer - backup Nickle, 14 tackles
Devon Hunter RB, Xfer - not on depth chart
Zack Sanders CB, Grad XFER - Backup SS, 22 tackles, one pass defended

Sorting that:
Starters - Wiglusz, Sanders
Backups - Buell, Jones, Van Every, Navarro, Hunter II, Williams
Other - Hillsman, McCullum, Mullins, Hunter

If the goal was to get a lot of immediate help, they have gotten some at WR, but not much elsewhere. If the goal was to add depth, I would say that they have.

Wiglusz running wild and scoring TDS today.

Last time I looked Williams was leading in tackles.

Wiglusz leads the Bobcats by far, with 35 catches, 434 yards, and 5 TDs. Jones is 3rd in receptions with 21 and 2 TDs, and 2nd in yards at 340.

Stats for the xfers on defense:
Zack Sanders CB, Grad XFER - still at 22 tackles, one pass defended
Adonis Williams S, Xfer - added 6 tackles, now has 20, #12 on the team.
Rayyan Buell DT, JUCO - still 7 tackles, 2 sacks
Dontay Hunter II DL, Xfer - one additional tackle, and now has 7
Tyler Mullins S, JUCO - has added 2, and now has 3 tackles
Cam McCullum CB, JUCO - still 1 tackle

Sanders adds a sack, a TFL, and 2 picks today. He is now the starting SS.

Looks like we don’t get into transfers as much as many other schools. May be that this year we had so many returning players. I’ve seen that Buffalo had 25 and Marshall had 24.

As for our guys, Sanders,Bostic,Jones, A Williams, and Sam are making a big difference.

I believe Ohio also has a policy in place that really limits their ability to bring in quite a few transfers. Their portal work has to be selective.
