So, I believe Ohio will give him more opportunity to move to scholarship than the OSU.

Kinda strange if we only offered a PWO to a kid that got a PWO at Ohio State simply because PWOs at Ohio State normally have full offers from MACs and other lower tier FBS

That is not true, most don’t have fbs offers, the few that do get academic schollies. There are some that have MAC offers, but most don’t. He made a great decision because he has a better chance of earning a scholarship at Ohio, where four of five Walton’s can start in a given year. He has the size to play right away, if he can make the two deep or we have some attrition, he may be next in line for an offer.

Nobody despises to lose more than I do. That's got me into trouble over the years, but it also made a man of mediocre ability into a pretty good coach. Woody Hayes

There is NO way that John-Boy could start on this team. Let alone any of the other Walton boys.

Boy, the things you learn on BA. I had to l look up Wilford Brimley to find out he'd been on ten episodes of the Waltons (aka the Walkons!) playing a character known as Horace Brimley. I'm impressed, Doc, of your in-depth knowledge of the Waltons. Very impressive!
