PWO. Might have been headed to Miami if not for the work of a Bobcat alum I know.

Appears to be an Ohio type blue collar TE, part lineman. Very glad to welcome him. JMHO. Better and better.

He is also a LS. He could win a scholarship early as Ohio will need one of those after next year. I agree, I like the way he plays. He blocks aggressively, and gets open, and catches the ball in traffic. Excellent addition.

How do we keep finding these guys. Hope he doesnt eat IHOP all you can eat because there won't be enough pancakes for him. Secondly, he has a long stride and his QB is always late on his deep balls so we dont get to see him open up that stride. Fall camp DE's versus TE's in the blocking drill will be fun with Ewald in the mix.
And finally, who is that McDonald kid at running back? He is impressive too with all that the lower leg strength. Hope I dont offend anyone with this comment but he runs just like Kareem Hunt.

McDonald is only a sophomore (class of 2021). Alter's QB signed with Missouri. The interesting case on that team is RB John Bivens. He received a USC offer last season as a junior in week 8. The following week he suffered a bad knee injury. Tore everything. Did not even play this year. In spite of that, looks like he might be headed to Nebraska.

Don't see the Hunt comparison..McDonald is 6'1 225 a north and south runner..Hunt had a lot of shake in HS and was around 200.
We don't need to worry about McDonald tho he's def a P5 guy and coaches wont offer.

Runs just like him: https://youtu.be/oGXfw5YKsDk

I just see film differently than you. Kareem was a power back in HS. Not a shake and Baker. He wasn't known for his long speed.

Literally one of his first big highlights is him running backwards, reversing field and coming around the end...I see none from the other back but okay.
