Young kid lots of work to be done, has some tools, a couple of the clips in the first film are JV games, as he was the back up QB early in the season. But young man to see how he develops.

Boy needs some protein ;) - 6'3 - 160

Looks like he backed-up quite the stud. Where is Bunch going to school. See a number of mid-major offers after an impressive career - maybe he should reach out to Ohio.

As they say, good frame to build on. Not unusual for an 8th or 9th grade QB to put on 30-35 lbs in three years. Not a finished product, but who is at that age? Getting meaningful reps as a Soph will help his development. Could be a good one.

If he can put on 15 to 20 lbs by July he will be starting as a soph.

He is now on a 5,000 a day diet, protein supplements and lifting 4 days a week in the schools offseason program.I also got him with a personal trainer in a group of 3 other football players to work on speed and agility 4 days a week.

He has the frame, now he just needs to build on it. What is funny is that I am not pushing him, he asked if I could get the trainer and he sets up all the times and places for training, I just drive and pay lol. Hell I think his best sport is as a baseball pitcher, but he has a real passion for QB. I tried to talk him into Baseball but it was a no go.

He also has a QB coach, the same ones that have trained several D1 QB's like AJ MC Carron and Jake Coker. Also the starter at NC and a few others.

Ok, so seriously I was right in the fact you placed JV film on this board to tout a player? He has some tools, but placinging your own film on a fan website is not the direction to go. He has some potential, but this is cart way before the horse. We didn't even have Joe Burrow freshmen year JV highlights on this board and his father was one of the coaches.

Now, about Bunch???

In my opinion, QBs that were pitchers end up with the best mechanics (once they figure out the transition back and forth). Good mechanics lead to accuracy and confidence, allowing him to focus on the mental aspects. Work the 7v7 circuits, lift, work with WRs, but don't overthrow. Pitch count his baseball to maybe 90 pitches/week in baseball season. Don't expect perfection, Soph's are going to make Soph type mistakes.

Best of luck.

Try tweeting @ohiocoachgeorge . You'll have better luck getting the coaches' attention than posting here.

You get the coaches attention by actually being a great Varsity QB and a D1 caliber athlete on and off the field. Attending summer camps dont hurt but ultimately if he can play it will show up on Friday Nites.

Everyone's situation is different. I think you have to find what's best for yours. There are huge differences between levels of HS football play. You can run up huge numbers vs teams that cant crack the top 1/3 in the country and not be a college prospect. Then again, I recall reading about a decent QB from NM (I think) that took forever to get any looks. You can spend a lot of time and money traveling to camps and doing 7v7, and that can help. But, once again, there's a huge value range of camps. My nephew hit more than a dozen camps last year, and seen by a couple dozen schools. Come up with a plan that works for you. Best of luck.

FWIW, not unusual for a kid to add 15+ lbs a year in HS. Ohio 2017 QB offer was rail-thin 6'2"/173# (8th grade Spring 7v7), 6'3.25"/190# (summer before Soph season), and 6'4"/218# (last week, Sr this fall). Growth charts have always predicted close to 6'4/230# starting college, but he hits the weights hard between football and baseball seasons.

Not sure if I answered this or not. He signed with a JR. College in Arizona. He believes he is a high D1 QB and is going to prove it next year. He has family there he is going to live with and since he wants to play for a team on the west coast thinks if he does what he should do, they will notice him and he will get with a Power 5 team. Any team that takes him is going to get a steal.

Bunch is going to Scottsdale CC. He is rolling the dice that he will kick ass and get a power 5 offer instead of the mid-majors. I think it will work.

As for my son? http://247sports.com/Player/87978/ProfilePhotos/Cisco-1jp...

This is some stuff on him today. Cincinnati was the first D1 to show real interest. Today Ole Miss recruiting coordinator texted him to start the process. Penn States James Franklin has expressed interest as well.

Last week against a good Hillsboro (Nashville TN) he was 18-24 332 yards and 5 TD's with no INT's in the first half. Sat out the second of a 49-21 game.

Here are some links

There are 4 other middle TN player of the week awards he is up for.

Here are his hudl highlights threw 4 games ...

Ohio had success with a QB, Austen Everson, from a nearby town, Brentwood, about a decade ago.

Congratulations he looks like he’s developed nicely. Did you guys get film to the coaches. Pro Tip the Twitter craze makes it easy to tag the coaches in film links. Ohio Coaches are all over twitter

School has a great QB system. This kid (as a junior) beat out Cisco to be the starter. May be worth a look by Ohio.

I presume you mean Ethan Cash?
https://247sports.com/player/ethan-cash-46054659 /

Getting back to the subject of this thread, it seems that in the end Nathan Cisco did end up signing with Idaho.
