Thank you for the fun fact. Here's hoping this is also TCU's year.
I think thet according to some polls of that year, before I was born, BTW, Tulane would have been declared national champions if they had beaten USC.

Just because I know this conversation is going to turn into “why aren’t we in the NY6 Bowls…?”
According to Sports Illustrated: “Fritz, courted two years ago for the job at Kansas, makes about $2.2 million a year on a contract that runs through the 2026 season. Incentives this year could get him to nearly $3 million, putting him within the top five of Group of 5 coaches with the departure to the Big 12 of Cincinnati, Houston and UCF.” So they pay their coaches 5x what we pay ours. And their total athletic budget is $50 million. Ours is half that. Not all G5s are equal. Invest in the program and get the rewards.
