What stands out is that Ohio University paid Morgan State $75 to $100 K more per game than several MAC schools paid FCS schools in 2024. Also James Madison paid Gardner Webb $250 K in 2024 and I think Ohio is giving GW $350 K this fall to play them in Athens.

Expecting an AD gender cross reference covering all of these deals.

You said it, not me. But we both know who negotiated the deals. James Madison played Gardner Webb for 100 K less. You can double check the 2024 pay outs and see where Ohio stood compared to several other league schools.

No, you're the only one who has said it. We're just making fun of you for it.

Why? Because it is a dumb thing to say.

BLove of Shame- The numbers above don't need any explanation. What can't you figure out? Gardner Webb is getting paid 100 K more from Ohio than they did last season from JMU. Nice job AD! The difference in miles from Boiling Springs NC to JMU and Athens is about fifty miles, yet that is worth 100 K more. The football program plays 2-3 games vs power four schools. Does the mens hoops team schedule 50-75% of non league games vs power four programs? Ask this fabulous AD why she doesn't schedule power four programs for mens hoops to raise cash for the department? I'm not buying the baloney that power four schools will not play Ohio after the annual fifth seed finishes. Kent and Toldeo have no problem getting Purdue, Houston, Auburn and Bama on their schedule. You can continue to give this AD a hall pass for her mistakes.

It takes a special level of pathetic to act like you have for the last several months. There's never been anything -- not a single thing -- more pathetic posted on this board than your sexist accusations against Cromer.

A smarter person would be ashamed. I know you won't be though.

I am giving you facts and you continue to ignore them. The facts above have zero to do with being sexist. Evidently you and others do not understand facts. The facts above are that Gardner Webb was paid 100 K less at JMU in 2024 than they are being paid in Athens in 2025. The facts above are that Ohio paid 75 K to 100 K more than other football MAC schools did last season for FCS games. What facts don't you understand? You still haven't answered my question about the mens hoops schedule compared to the football schedule. I'm waiting and please don't BS me with the mens BB team can not get anyone to play them.

FBSchedules has this game at 350K.

“Ohio will host the Gardner-Webb Runnin’ Bulldogs of the Big South-OVC Football Association at Peden Stadium in Athens, Ohio, on Saturday, Sept. 20, 2025. The Bobcats will pay the Runnin’ Bulldogs a $350,000 guarantee for the game, according to the copy of the contract.”

Sorry about the FACTS. I did MY OWN RESEARCH!

Look at the post, 1996 stated that the GW payout was $350k. Kudos on your own research, but that research is the same. 🤦🏽‍♂️.

Remove any reference togender, it does appear we are one of the most generous payouts to FCS schools.

Two things:

1) Bobcat1996 has shown who he is, and exposed what an idiot he is. To claim sexism is such an incredibly stupid, biased impulse that "removing it" makes no sense. It seems to color everything he thinks about Cromer.

As an example of that bias. . .

2) The average payout of the above is $366,875. The median is $350,000. Feels like we're right on market.

So how about you do your own research and stop being led around by a sexist idiot?

It's truly hilarious how often you're an assh*le to people here when it's completely unwarranted, and then very wrong yourself. It "appears" we're one of the most generous here if you've already reached that conclusion and have been looking for ways to criticize the AD for 6 months. But if you do 6th grade math, on the other hand. . .

Feel free to insert that condescending emoji you used here as you read this. Feels warranted.

Good wagon to hitch yourself to here, by the way. 1996 seems like a good guy.

Didn't fully read, hand up, my bad.

Bobcat1996 still needs to give it up.

Two thoughts here:

1. If OHIO pays more to an FCS team than someone else, is that a bad thing? Having a reputation of paying well certainly gives us a better reputation among FCS schools and shows we have some fiscal resources that are solid, if not P4 spectacular.

2. Is it possible that Bobcat1996 is a woman? You know what a cat fight looks like? They can be ugly!

Out of curiosity, do these games get negotiated in a vacuum?

I'd assume not, and that ADs are likely bundling things together (for instance, games for other sports).

But maybe there's some reason that doesn't happen here.
