Referring back to this thread on Dec. 4: http://www.bobcatattack.com/messageboard/topic.asp?FromPa..., can the O Zone leadership get back to doing the cheer the old/correct way? You might want to connect with the 110, too, so everyone can be on the same page. In the above-mentioned thread, I explained how the cheer was back when, and how it would make much more sense to go back to it - just listen to it both ways. Thanks. Just the two cents of an old Bobcat fan. I can be reached off-board at: joe@lorekfamily.com.

Hey! Thanks for your input. It is something we'll take a look at.

Went a little too far west, let's go SJ Earthquakes!

Yes, many times new is better, but this is a case where old is best.  The way we did it was, at the end was:

O-H-I-O, O-H-I-O, O-H-I-O-HIO!

MUCH MORE PUNCHY, IMHO. Thanks for considering making this change. That OOOOOOHHHHHH . . . just seems like something you'd hear at a yoga camp and not at a collegiate baseball game.

That's exactly what I meant, CatFan! I remember a couple years ago watching one of the series on the football team getting ready for the season, and they showed in the locker room, teaching the new team members the chant - the WRONG way. I'm not sure who was teaching it, but I sent a note then to Jason Grooms about it, but I never heard back.

So, is someone connected to the 110 to fix things on their end, too? I'm feeling better about this already.

110 doesn't need to fix anything.

I didn't mean like it was broken, JSF. But it would be nice if everyone was on the same page. No insult intended.
