Fun listen this morning! Got to hear from some recent Bobcats now playing pro in Europe (BVP, Jaylin, Wiz, DW3, Miles): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZeTZgaYKJFU&t=2192s

Some highlights:
- Lots of shoutouts to the culture and brotherhood that Boals & Co have built. I know it's been a frustrating season, but always refreshing to hear former players talk about how genuinely good people their coaches and teammates are
- BVP recently dropped 40 in Sweden. DW3 plays in the same league, and they're playing each other again soon

Lowlight:
- Several of the players referred to us as "Bobbies" *blasphemy!*

Oof. Do they like listening to K-Pop while wearing their Uggs too? *shudders*

This was an interesting and entertaining post, until the "Bobbies" crapola. Maybe they all have a secret desire to be a London policeman or something. So, very odd!

Will never understand where "Roll Bobbies" game from. It's just dumb. Never heard it uttered in my four years at OHIO and don't recall an announcer ever saying "Roll Bobbies". Did Russ ever utter it and I missed it?

I walked by the president's tailgate and noticed she had a shirt with "Roll Bobbies" embroidered on it. I was ill.

Let's bring back, "Rip 'em up, tear 'em up, give 'em hell OHIO!" That's a strong masculine cheer. It might even bring a slight level of fear into the heart of an opponent. "Roll Bobbies" sounds so sissified and weak that it would embolden an opponent as he laughed his way to slamming a dunk over the top of your head. Plus it sounds just downright stupid!

"Roll Bobbies" might be OK for our intercollegiate tiddlywinks team!

I could be wrong but I thought it came from ESPN or other national sports media when they also referred to us as the Fighting Franks in honor of Solich. I think it stuck with some and seems to have stuck with some of our athletes. I do not pay much attention to it anymore but I do hear it a lot. I guess it is good we in conversations.

What is it that P.T. Barnum said? Something like “I don’t care what you say about me, just make sure you spell my name right.” Then again “Bobbies” isn’t the right spelling, so…
